Shore Rubber Hardness Test Block
International rubber hardness test blocks are standard test blocks used to calibrate and verify the accuracy of rubber hardness testers.
They are usually made of rubber materials with uniform hardness and have different hardness values so that they can be calibrated and verified in different hardness ranges.
International rubber hardness test blocks, there are N blocks and M blocks.
N blocks are a set of 6 blocks;
M blocks are a set of 4 blocks;
The use of international rubber hardness test blocks is as follows:
Select the appropriate test block: According to the hardness range to be calibrated, select a test block with the corresponding hardness value.
Calibrate the hardness tester: Place the hardness tester on a stable workbench and ensure that the indenter is perpendicular to the surface of the test block. Place the test block under the hardness tester so that the indenter contacts the surface of the test block. According to the operating instructions of the hardness tester, apply the specified test force and maintain it for a certain time.
Read the hardness value: After the test force is applied, read the hardness value displayed on the hardness tester.
Verify the calibration: Use another test block or standard material of known hardness for verification to ensure the accuracy of the hardness tester.
Regular calibration: In order to ensure the accuracy of the hardness tester, it is recommended to calibrate it regularly. The calibration frequency depends on the frequency of use and the stability of the instrument.
By using the international rubber hardness test block, the accuracy of the rubber hardness tester can be ensured, thus providing reliable hardness data during the production and testing of rubber products.
