Tensile Testing Machine Operating Procedures and Instructions
1. Machine preparation:
a. Ensure that the electronic tensile testing machine has a suitable power supply and grounding.
b. Check whether the various components of the testing machine are intact, such as fixtures, fixture wrenches, etc.
c. Check whether the safety protection devices of the testing machine are working properly.
2. Sample preparation:
a. Select suitable samples according to the test requirements and prepare sufficient quantities.
b. Clean the surface of the sample to ensure that there are no impurities.
c. Properly handle the sample in accordance with standard operating procedures, such as cutting, grinding wheel dressing, etc.
3. Test setup:
a. Turn on the power of the electronic tensile testing machine and ensure that the instrument display is normal.
b. Adjust the parameters of the testing machine according to the test requirements, such as loading speed, test mode (tension or compression), test range, etc.
c. Select a suitable fixture according to the size and shape of the sample and install the fixture correctly.
d. Put the sample into the fixture and ensure that the fixture firmly fixes the sample.
4. Test operation:
a. Ensure that the operator wears relevant safety equipment, such as gloves, goggles, etc.
b. Start the test machine and start the test.
c. Observe the instrument data during the test, such as load value, deformation value, etc., and record them.
d. Pay attention to the failure form of the sample and abnormal conditions during the test, such as noise, odor, etc.
e. After the test, stop the test machine and record the test results.
5. Data processing:
a. Calculate the various mechanical performance indicators required according to the test results, such as tensile strength, yield strength, etc.
b. Statistics and analysis of the data during the test, and organize them into reports or records.
6. Test machine maintenance:
a. Regularly check the various components of the test machine to ensure their normal operation.
b. Clean the internal and external surfaces of the test machine, and prevent dust and debris from entering the machine.
c. Regularly replace wearing parts according to the maintenance instructions provided by the manufacturer. d. If there is any fault or abnormal situation, please contact professional technicians for repair or processing in time.
The above are the operating procedures and instructions for use of the electronic tensile testing machine. Please note that in actual operation, the relevant standards and safety regulations should be strictly followed to ensure the accuracy of the test and the safety of personnel.
