Rain test chamber is an environmental simulation device that replicates real-world rain exposure, road splash, and high-pressure washdowns through programmable water spray systems.

 

Its primary function is to uncover potential product vulnerabilities—such as seal failure, material degradation, or electrical short circuits—long before the product enters the field.

Installation Site

The placement area should have a level floor, good ventilation, and be free of flammable, explosive, or corrosive gases or dust; the site should have no strong vibrations and avoid direct sunlight;

there should be no strong electromagnetic radiation sources nearby;

the floor load-bearing capacity should be no less than 600kg/m²; environmental temperature requirement: 5℃~30℃ for optimal performance;

environmental humidity requirement: ≤85%RH; environmental atmospheric pressure requirement: 86KPa~106KPa;

adequate maintenance space should be left around the equipment.

During rain tests with wind, the position of the rotating table in the test chamber can be adjusted so that the top drip tray is on different vertical axes, enabling raindrops to strike the product at angles of 0~45°.
