Motorized Superficial Digital Rockwell Hardness Tester with LCD Built-in Printer
The HRMS-45 digital Rockwell hardness tester has a novel appearance, measuring device using a grating sensor and a computer control.
The hardness indication value directly display on the liquid crystal screen as an electromechanical hardness tester.
The Rockwell Superficial hardness test method consists of indenting the test material with a diamond cone (N scale) or hardened steel ball indenter. The indenter is forced into the test material under a preliminary minor load usually 3 kgf.
This machine can carry out automatic conversion of various hardness scales, identify the minimum thickness parameters of the test pieces to automatically convert each other, identify the minimum thickness of the test piece and determine the ambient temperature of the test. With the features of easy operation, tiny indentation and high precision,
Built-in printer reads relevant test results. Automated operation eliminates manual operation and reading errors.
Main Functions and Features:
1. Directly display the test hardness value through the large LCD screen;
2. The shell is made by a special sandblasting process with a one-step casting process. The structure is stable without deformation and can work in a relatively harsh environment. The car has a high-grade paint and a strong anti-scratch ability. It is still bright as a new product for many years.

Rockwell superficial scales are used to test materials too thin or small for the regular scales or outside the regular ranges.
Generally Diamond Indenters are used for hard materials while Ball Indenters are used on soft materials, like Surface hardened steel, copper, aluminum alloy sheet, strip steel, hard alloy steel;
The HR 15 N scale is useful for testing hard thermal spray coatings like ceramics and carbides, while at the other extreme the HR 15 Y scale is used to test very soft abradable coatings, Galvanized, chrome plated, tin plated, surface heat treated and chemical surface treated metal materials.
